| How does sociaLAVA work?
sociaLAVA is a website add-on. It is added as script tag by website administrators/blog owners to the website's HTML code, and runs from the SociaLAVA servers.

| What do I need to know about privacy in sociaLAVA?
sociaLAVA is a global social network that works across sites it is integrated on. When you register to sociaLAVA you will automatically join the default VirtualWeb community and the default community of the site you registered in. After the initial registration you may join new communities or leave communities you previously joined. When connected to a community, your fellow community users can see your published activity and view your profile and friends. Your friends and activity can also be viewed by anonymous users but you cannot be contacted by them unless they connect to the network and offer you friendship. It is important to understand that only published activity can be viewed by others - your navigation history and unpublished activity will not be accessible to anyone in the network.

| How does SociaLAVA look like? SociaLAVA adds a toolbar and other widgets to your website. The look and feel of the toolbar and widgets is fully customizable, and controlled by you, so you can change colors, appearance etc.

| Do I have to sign in to SociaLAVA and my site separately?
sociaLAVA works across sites - you can sign in anywhere and still be logged in as you navigate to other sites. However you will see the sociaLava toolbar only when you are navigating in sites powered by VirtualWeb.

| What are the software and hardware requirements? Using SociaLAVA does not require any additional hardware from the site's end. All traffic, storage and CPU time required to run the product are provided by Virtual Web as a service.

| How do I turn off SociaLAVA or remove the toolbar? As an administrator, you have full control over the execution of the product on your site.
You can simply get into the administrator's console, turn the product ON or turn it OFF.
To completely remove it from system, all you need to do is remove the script you added when adding the system in the first place.

| Is it a Browser Plugin, and how do I download it ?
SociaLava is not a browser plugin therefore nobody is required to download anything.

| So how does it work exactly ? The website owner (publisher) registers on www.sociaLava.com and receives a script line he needs to add to the website. When registered to SociaLava the publisher gets a unique id, that identifies the site. Once the script has been added to the website SociaLava is automatically enabled.

| Can I use my Facebook user or Gmail user with sociaLAVA? Yes, you can use your Facebook identity or Gmail identity to identify yourself with sociaLAVA. In fact sociaLAVA can instantly identify your friends and keep your existing relationships.

SociaLAVA is a separate network that interacts with existing networks such as Facebook. Since you can login with your Facebook ID it is seamless to you as a user.

| When connecting with Gmail, can I see my emails from Gmail? No, Gmail is only used for authenticating your username. SociaLAVA does not have access to your personal/corporate Email.

| How do I change my Site's logo?
Go into the Admin console, and got to Site > Administration > Customize Logos. There you can upload new all logos.

Inside Site > Advanced > SMTP Settings you can configure your email server, send test emails and define user names.

| How do I change my Virtual Web image?
In order to change the image you will need to edit your Virtual Web profile settings. First go to your profile by pressing your name on the toolbar. Your profile panel will be opened and you can choose the Edit profile option on the last tab. In the Edit profile section choose My Picture. In the My Picture section you can either choose an image from our gallery or upload a picture of your choice. When uploading your own picture you will be redirected to your photo where you can resize the exact square in the picture you want to use as your image. After completing the settings choose update to save your settings.

| What are the format and size specifications for Virtual Web images?
Virtual Web images will always be saved as square images, but you can upload any picture you wish and crop it to the correct proportions using our picture upload function.

| How do I change my Virtual Web display name or location?
In order to change the image you will need to edit your Virtual Web profile settings. First go to your profile by pressing your name on the toolbar. Your profile panel will be opened and you can choose the Edit profile option on the last tab. In the Edit profile section you can change your personal data. After completing the settings choose update to save your settings.

Your email is your unique identification in the system and you cannot change it after your registration.

| What other settings can I change?
From the Edit profile section you can change all yout profile settings: Name, Job title, Company, Profession, Carrer, About Me, IMs settings, Marratial status, Gender, Birth date, Website, phone number and mantra.
You can also change your connection settings to other social networks such as google,facebook and twitter. In your profile choose the Identities tab and set up the connections to the social networks.

| How do I share my activity?
While some of your activity is automatically notifying your friends and community (Talkbacks, Blog Posts), you may also recommend other actions using the recommend buttons throughout the product. If your user is conected to facebook, your new action notifications will be sent to facebook as well to your profile as well as your recommendations.

| What does it mean to share my activity?
Sharing your activity means to notify your friends and community about your activity. Through those notifications your friends can then launch directly to your activity and be able to correspond about it.

| Can I share some activities but not others?
Your activity is automatically share with your friends and community, however when you want to recommend something you choose if you want to share with the community or just to a specific set of friends choosing the Share button option where available. If you wish to stop sending the notification to facebook you can go to your Identity settings in your profile and disconnect from facebook.

| Can I remove an action that I've previously shared?
You cannot unshare since a notification was already sent to all users.

| How do I turn off sharing?
Sharing cannot be turned off. However facebook sharing can be turned off if you disconnect from facebook in the Identity settings in your profile.

| Can people see my online status? Your friends and others can view your online status unless you "block" them explicitly.

you can change your online status by clicking the online status icon on the edge of the toolbar and choose offline.

| When I am offline, can I still see other users?
You can still see other users but you will not be able to chat with them.

| What does it mean to block a user?
Users that are not your friends will not be able to chat with you and are blocked from contacting you until you accept their contact request. Is is currently not possible to block a user who already your friend - to block a friend you will just need to delete him from your friends list.

| How can I see who is online?
On the main toolbar you can click the online icon to see which one of your friends is currently online and start a chat with him. Another method of identification if user status is online is a green\red dote near a user image in the Contacts pannel - open the Contacts panel and search for the friend you want to see - a green\red dote will appear to show the online status.

| Can other users see what I am doing and where I am currently surfing? Absolutely not. Even system administrators do not see personal surfing behavior.

| How do I view other SociaLAVA users' activity?
You can view the activity of your friends and members in your community in a few locations through the main tool bar as well as through embeded Virtual Web components in the site. Using the main toolbar you will see the latest activity in the New box on the toolbar. For more information and to open the extended Activity Log, press the New icon on your toolbar and the Activity Log panel will open. in the Activity Log you can see the different activity in your community sorted to groups - New, all, Opinions\Talkbacks, Rating, Contacts. Using the Activity Log you may also see what friendship requests you have pending and approve or deny them.

| How do I add someone to my network?
When viewing user profiles in the product you will have an option to add to your network anyone who is not already your friend. Simply choose either the Invite or Add friend links and a friendship request and email will be sent to that user waiting for his approval. Another method for adding friends to your network is by email - if your potential friend does not have a user in the system. In order to add friends by email you will have to go to the Import Contacts panel using one of the following methods: 1) In the Contacts panel from the main toolbar click the Invite Friends button. 2) In your profile panel click the Invite button. using the Import Contacts you can either import contacts from Gmail or Facebook and send them an email invite or use the manuale link to enter the email address by yourself. All invites will be sent to the chosen user\users and an automatic friendship request will be created for them once the register in the system. Note: you have a limited number of invitations which can be viewed on the Import Contacts panel.

| What does it mean to "add" a person as friend in Virtual Web?
Adding a friend will enable you and your new friend to communicate using chat and mail as well as receiving notifications about each others activity in the community.

| How do I remove someone from my network?
In order to remove an existing friend you will have to delete his contact. Deleting the contact can be done using the Delete or Remove Friend links when viewing the user profile.

| Can anyone add me to his or her Virtual Web network?
Anyone can add you to their network but you can choose the approve or deny their request.

| How do I know whether other Virtual Web users have added me to their networks?
After somone added you to their network you will receive a friendship request which you can approve or deny. the friendship request will appear in the Activity Log under the Requests tab. After approving a friende you will be able to see the user in your Contacts list.

| How do I recommend something I see on a website?
Recommendation can be done either on a web page where the Recommend or Share buttons are shown or on any user blog post. Clicking the Recommend button will send a recommend the page\post to all the community and friends and clicking the Share button will give you the option to enter specific friends you want to recommend this page\post to.

| How many activities will I see at one time?
In the Activity Log panel you will see the last 25 activities of each type and in the Activity Log through the site Virtual Web Lobby you will see the last 15 of each type. Note: The amount of activities shown can be changed based on administrative settings.

| Does Virtual Web tell other users whether I am online?
All users can see your online status in your user profile. However, only your friends can chat with you when you are online.

Currently Virtual Web users are contained to sites powered by virtual web. When navigating to sites outside of the virtualweb syste, you will loose your connection to the Virtual Web community and will not be followed.

| Can I link my Virtual Web activity to my Facebook profile?
You can link your activity to Facebook using the Identities settings in your user profile. On the Identities tab choose the network you want to connect to and follow the registration instructions (you will need to have an active profile in the chosen network). Once connected your activity will be published in facebook - blog posts, talkbacks, and public recommendations.

Virtual Web will work on the iPhone the same way it does on any other browser. Note: Sites that use a different infrastructure for their mobile users will not show the virtual web capabilities.
