Ron has over a decade of management experience and executive responsibilities with various technology vendors. Prior to co-founding Virtual Web he led product management and strategic relationships’ development for a Telecom company.
His Air Force service included team leadership and project management responsibilities in the context of operational space and satellites programs, as well as managing software development and network-engineering specialists’ teams in a variety of complex projects.
Ron holds B.Sc in Electronics Engineering and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University.
Dotan has extensive technological background that spans more than a decade of software development leadership in complex and diverse projects.
Prior to co-founding Virtual Web Dotan served in several management roles at Attunity (OTC Bulletin Board: ATTUF), a leading provider of real-time event capture and data integration software. His posts there included Technology and Innovation Director, Software Architect and Software Development Manager. Prior to Attunity Dotan served as VP of R&D for SpadeSoft, a US based Startup Company in the area of database optimization.
Dotan’s Air Force service incorporated several leadership positions at the unit tasked with operational software development. During his tenure as software architect of operational systems he led several initiatives for improving the core R&D competence which received the Air Force Commander’s Mark of Excellence recognition.
Dotan holds a B.Sc in Mathematics & Computer Science which he had received Magna Cum Laude from Tel-Aviv University.
